Wildfires Continue in California Due to Strong Winds and Low Humidity

A frontal system will move through the Pacific Northwest and into the Great Basin today. Rain and some mountain snow will be possible in the Pacific Northwest and northern Rockies, but no rainfall is forecast for ongoing fires in California. Strong winds behind the front will bring elevated-to-critical fire weather threats to active fires across northern California today into Thursday.     


Areas affected:East Bay Hills and the Diablo Range; Mountains Of San Benito County And Interior Monterey County Including Pinnacles National Monument; Santa Cruz Mountains; Santa Lucia Mountains and Los Padres National Forest
