San Benito County Free Library launches movie streaming service

Library cardholders now have free access to more than 30,000 classic, independent, foreign language and educational films.

The San Benito County Free Library has entered into a partnership with Kanopy, an award-winning video streaming service with more than 30,000 classic, independent, foreign language and educational films. All content is free for library cardholders.

The service also features Kanopy Kids, which offers animated storybooks, family films and popular kids’ TV shows. All children’s content has age-based ratings from Common Sense Media, plus additional parental controls. 

Library cardholders can stream a maximum of 7 videos per card per month.
