Translation and childcare services to be offered by Youth Alliance at upcoming Election Forums

Youth Alliance joins BenitoLink and San Benito County Farm Bureau, adding youth perspective and helpful services to upcoming election forums.

Important additional services are being offered through Youth Alliance at the upcoming election forums hosted by BenitoLink, the San Benito County Farm Bureau and Youth Alliance. English translation via headphones as well as childcare will be available free of charge for the first time at the forums.

This fall, Youth Alliance has joined BenitoLink and San Benito County Farm Bureau to put on the first fall forum Thursday, Oct. 11 at San Benito High School Auditorium at 6:30 p.m. The second election forum will be held Oct. 18 at the same time and location.

Translation services are being provided to give Spanish speaking residents the opportunity to fully understand what candidates have to say and learn about the measures.  Childcare is also being added to make the forums more convenient for families. These services are being provided thanks to Youth Alliance. BenitoLink and San Benito County Farm Bureau appreciate the chance to work with youth and Youth Alliance leadership in planning and drafting questions and providing these new services.
