Consuelo J “Connie Garcia went to be with God peacefully on August 11, 2018 at the age of 91. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Connie was born April 9, 1927 in Imperial City, San Diego. She moved to San Juan Bautista as a young girl and lived there until she married Tony Martin Garcia. After they got married, they moved to Powell St. in Hollister. Connie worked at the Hollister Cannery and Teledyne. Her favorite past time was playing bingo in Hollister and Salinas.
She is survived by her loving son Anthony(Lorraine) Garcia, Grandchildren Adam(Loresa) Garcia and Cora Cardille, Great Granddaughters Vanessa and Amanda Garcia, Niece Liz Nunez and Nephews Andrew, Frank, and Johnathan Nunez and other family members.
Connie was preceded in death by her beloved husband Tony Martin Garcia and Son Mark Steven Garcia.
Mass will be celebrated on Friday, Aug. 24, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church with inurnment to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
