Frances Leal, (Franny) Age 64 of Hollister, passed away in Hollister on Wednesday, December 19, 2018.
She was born in Tucson, Arizona on September 8, 1954. She later moved with her family to San Benito County in 1959.
She attended local Hollister schools, along with three years at The New Idria Mines School.
She later went on to receive a Computer Technician degree from Heald College and worked in the Communications Industry for a short time.
She was a Strong, Brave, Creative and Artistic woman. She loved Floral Arranging, Painting and gardening, especially working with Orchids. She also enjoyed surfing the web and posting on Facebook.
Mother Earth was her guide in life. She loved all things Bohemian, surrounding herself with color.
She was loved by many and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her son John Serrato Jr., Her Mother Amelia Leal (Molly), Grandchildren, Anthony Sanchez, Jade Sanchez, Jewel Sanchez and Johnny Sanchez, former Husband John Serrato, Sisters, Sheila Avila, Evelyn Razo, Yolanda Leal, Monica Alnas (Todd) and Christina Camarillo (Julian), along with Numerous Nieces, Nephews and her Pet Parrot Merlin.
She is preceded in death by her Daughters Samantha Serrato Sanchez, Madelyn Serrato, Brother Paul Leal, Brother-in-law George Razo and Father Ignacio Leal.
Services are Saturday, Jan. 12, at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home at 11:00 AM
