Jaime Ruiz Cortez

Jaime Ruiz Cortez was born in Michoacán February 12, 1963. He spent most of his childhood in Michoacán where his mother raised him on her own. He came to the United States at the age of fifteen. He lived his teenage years in Santa Ana California and Hollister California.

Shortly after Jaime lived in Texas and at the age of twenty-two he met his wife Juana Camacho Dominguez she was seventeen at the time Jaime and Juana started their life in Los Ángeles where they had their first child Jaime Ruiz junior, years later they moved and settled in Hollister California where they had their second son Ignacio Ruiz and there only daughter Araceli Ruiz Camacho.

Jaime worked extremely hard to provide for his family and give them everything he possibly could with the help of his wife Juana. Jaime and Juana did everything Together, they helped their family and friends whenever anybody needed a helping hand most importantly, they made something out of their lives together. Our father was the rock of our family, he was a man of many things but most importantly he was a family man.

Jaime loved to listen to music, he loved to dance, he loved to make jokes, he loved old school cars, and he loved sports as well, he was a huge Dodgers, Lakers, and Raiders fan.

Jaime also loved his grandchildren Daniel Sanchez Ruiz, Selena Rosario Ruiz, and Alma Socorro Ruiz, they were his world. Unfortunately, Jaime’s son Ignacio was called to heaven in 2013, Jaime no longer had all the hopes and dreams he once had after losing his son. Jaime continued to become sick and on Thanksgiving November 25, 2021 after eight years of fighting he was reunited with his son Ignacio Ruiz, his mother Socorro and everyone else we love and have lost. Although it is hard for us to say goodbye to him, he is no longer suffering both mentally and physically. We love my father so much; he gave us the childhood he always dreamed of having. He was a loyal and honest man; his legacy will continue to live on through his beloved family.
