Alfredo was born on January 23, 1951 in Villa Jimenez Michoacan, Mexico to Jose and Flora Guzman. He migrated to California in 1979 where he met his wife Lorena in Gilroy, Ca. In 1990, he settled in Los Banos, Ca to raise his family. Later in 2016 he moved to Hollister, California.
Alfredo dedicated 25 years of his life to Volcan Fordge Company in San Jose, Ca working as a machine operator and mechanic. In his spare time he enjoyed spending time with his family, working on cars, traveling to Reno/Lake Tahoe, and listening to Paquita la del Barro in his garage.
He had a big heart and was always ready and willing to help anyone in need, whether they were family, friends, or strangers. His 4 children were the world to him and when times were hard, he always found a way to ensure food was always on the table.
Alfredo was a very social man who always stated his sentences as “hello my friend!”. When he retired in 2017, he would spend a lot of his time walking around town, visiting his neighbors, riding his bike, and spent hours maintaining his gray 1985 Nissan 720 4×4 pick up truck.
Alfredo is survived by his wife of 41 years, Lorena Guzman, his son Orlando, and three daughters Yvonne, Adrianna and Beatriz.
Alfredo will be missed greatly by his family and friends.

All family and friends are invited to the memorial services. The services will be held at Black-Cooper-Sander Funeral Home starting on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 and ending Wednesday, March 22, 2022.
Reception following funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 22, 2022 from 2pm to 6pm at:
