Denise S. Basaldua Owen gone but never forgotten.
Denise Sunny Basaldua-Owen passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at the young age of 46. Born in Watsonville, California on March 20,1975.
Denise is proceeded in death by her loving husband Jason Owen. Nephew Daniel Basaldua, grandparents, Duval Basaldua Snr. And David and Vera Solano.
Denise is survived by her parents, Sonny and Darlene Basaldua, brother Michael Basaldua, her children Nicholas (Justine) Ruvalcaba III, Jaidynn Basaldua, Jaqulynn Owen. Joshua Owen and Joseph Owen, Grandchildren Jayden and Kaleah-Skye Ruvalcaba, and Sunny-Jay Cabrera, nieces Krystle Gutierrez, Alexzandra Basaldua and great niece Jayda Gutierrez.
Denise attended school in Watsonville. She graduated from Watsonville High School in 1993 and went on to earn her cosmetology license from Wayne’s beauty school.
Denise enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, but most importantly her grandchildren. The times she spent with family and friends were the happiest days of her life. Denise was always there. Whether it was giving out a helping hand, or just a listening ear, she would immediately drop everything she was doing to support the ones in need. She also enjoyed fishing with her father, listening to music, crocheting, as well as thrift shopping. Denise will always be remembered for being very loving and kindhearted.

Services will be held Wednesday July 7, 10 a.m. at Bolado Park in Tres Pinos outside of Hollister, California.
Burial services will be Thursday July 8, 10 a.m. at Pioneer Cemetery in Watsonville
