Francisco Sandoval passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, Dec 26. He was preceded in death by his wife, Aurora Sandoval and by a son, Francisco Sandoval Jr.
His children all live in Hollister,: Yolanda Escamilla (Louis), Aggie Obeso-Bradley (Chuck) and Michael Razo (Alvia)
His 11 grandchildren are Elena Hatchett, Elva Ayala, Sammy Ayala, Helene Cordova, Carlos Bradley, Isela Mosqueira, Luis Bradley, Mikey Razo, Joseph Razo, Sandra Landeros and Francisco Razo. Francisco has 13 great grandchildren.
Francisco was born in Mazatlan, Sinaloa, Mexico in 1925 and had lived in Hollister since 1955. Early in his career, he worked as a farm laborer and was a member of the UFW. Later on he worked at the Hollister Canning Company and was a member of the Teamsters' Union until his retirement.
Donations are preferred to Mabie Northside Skilled Nursing Facility which took such great care of Francisco until his passing.
