Gloria Escudero

Gloria Escudero was born April 10, 1927 in Eugene, Oregon. She passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021 in Stockton, California, while residing at the Creekside Care Center since June of 2020.

She was 93 years young. Gloria passed of natural causes after surviving COVID-19 in December 2021. She was the 4th child of Sofia Cardenas-Reyes-Escudero and Juan Escudero, who had 15 children in their family.

Gloria was preceded in death by both her parents and eight brothers and seven sisters. She was never married and had no children. She raised her sister, Olga’s son, Alex Yanez of Hollister, California. She is survived by her last surviving sibling, Olga Lias of San Jose, California and an abundance of nieces and nephews.

Private cremation was followed by outdoor mass on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 11am at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Hollister, California.
