Merced L. Bedolla

Passed Away On: 06/05/2018

Merced L. Bedolla passed away peacefully on June 5, at the Regional Medical Center in San Jose surrounded by her loving family.  Her funeral service will be held on June 18 at the Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home at 10:30 am.

Merced was born on January 2, 1920.  She lived most of her life in Hollister dedicated to raising and supporting her family.  Merced exemplified motherhood; she listened without judging, sacrificed for others, always offered encouragement and provided unconditional love.  She was a steady presence with a strength of character that never waivered during difficult times.  Merced’s family is her proud legacy.

She was preceded in death by her husband Margarito Bedolla and daughter Martha Chapa.  She is survived by son Modesto Bedolla and daughters Dahlia Bedolla, Margie Kneebone, Alice Avina, Stella Vanderveen, Catalina Bedolla-Wanttaja, sixteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Sunday, June 17, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home.

Funeral services and Celebration of Life will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 18 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
