Taide Mata passed away on June 16,2022 in Hollister California at the age of 88.
Taide was born in San Luis PotosÃ, Mexico on October 19, 1933. She was 1 of 10 siblings. After losing her parents at a young age
she and her siblings came to the states when she was 16 years old.
In 1959 she married her sweetheart, Victor. They lived in Texas for about 7 years and then moved here to Hollister.
Taide worked at San Benito County Foods for 45 years. She also volunteered and helped raise money for Sacred Heart Church as well as St. Benedict Catholic Church alongside her husband. Although having 45 years of work experience her most cherished job was being a homemaker and caring for her 5 children. Being a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother brought her so much joy. She also enjoyed cooking; she was an excellent cook.
She was survived by her son Jerry, daughter in law Heloise, daughter Rose, granddaughter Lisa, and her great grandchildren Logan, Alina, and her great grandson on the way.
She was proceeded in death by her husband Victor Sr, her son Robert, her son Sergio, and her son Victor Jr.
Taide will always be remembered for her kindness, her great spirit, the love and dedication she gave her family, and her love for Jesus Christ. Her family will miss her deeply but will forever live on in our hearts.
