She was born in Palintucang Bauang La Union Philippines; she was the daughter of Gil and Julita Baladad. She is the 6th of her 10 siblings. She was the wife of Esam El Giendi and they shared 8 years of marriage together. A great, loving and thoughtful mother of Julie Danicamae B. Solivio (31) and Dan Paul B. And eventually her family migrated to the USA in 2002 where she continued her profession. She was employed at Pacific Hills Manor as a staff nurse and MDS.

Watching her teleserye at home was one of her past times, especially during her days off or spending time with her grandkids from her niece and nephew when they visited her at home. She also likes spending time on the beach to fish or to go crabbing with her kids to relax and bond; also goes on trips with her husband. She has the passion of gardening in her backyard growing her own little vegetable planter box and feels joyful and proud of the little harvest she got and cooked them for family meals. She has big dreams for her family, especially for her kids, so she has worked really hard. She loves and cares for her family in every way she could. And for that she will never be forgotten.

Thelma Baladad- El Giendi will be forever remembered by her loved ones for her courage, strength and will in every endeavor she encounters. A very resilient lady. The caring, loving and thoughtful mother, sister, auntie, grandmother, wife and friend one could ever have.
