Passed Away On: August 1, 2022
Tom Tomasello, a lifelong resident of Hollister, California, passed away unexpectedly on August 1st, 2022 at the age of 79 years old.
Tom graduated from Hollister High School and worked as a metal machinist for 55 years. He enjoyed spending time with family, fishing, and always took his annual trip to Reno with his best friend, Vic Corfee, who was more like a brother than a friend, but, he was best known by the community for the yellow Chevy step-side pickup that he cherished and will still be seen around town.
Tom was very sociable with many of the people he came across. Tom is survived by his wife, Janice Tomasello, of 50 years, his daughters, LaRae Huston and Gina Strickland, his son, Tom Tomasello, grandchildren Haley Rabello and Hunter Huston, along with several nephews and nieces. Tom was also predeceased by his daughter, Tawne Tomasello, his parents, Mace and Georgie Tomasello, and sister, Marlene Fortenbury.
Tom was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him.
