SUMMARY:National Health Center Week: Feeding the Frontline
DESCRIPTION:Date: Thursday\, August 7 \nTime: 3-6 p.m. \nLocation: San Benito Health Foundation\, 351 Felice Drive\, in Hollister\, CA. \nThe “Feeding the Frontline” event is an initiative of the San Benito Health Foundation to celebrate National Health Center Week (NHCW) 2025. There will be food/produce distribution and health information. We wanted to recognize our patients and share support to all families who may be in need around San Benito County during these challenging times. \nThis year’s NHCW theme\, launched by the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC)\, focuses on “America’s Health Centers Celebrating 60 Years of Improving our Nation’s Health” and San Benito Health Foundation is especially pleased to take part in this celebration on its 50 th anniversary as a Community Health Center. NHCW highlights the essential role Community Health Centers play in improving public health and advancing health equity. Health centers represent the nation’s largest primary care network\, serving 32.5 million patients nationwide. \nPartnering with local organizations and businesses that honor the same vision as the San Benito Health Foundation\, helps make it possible to reach our goal of supporting families within the community. These partners include Brent Redmond Transportation\, Community Foodbank of San Benito County\, El Teatro Campesino\, Hollister Super\, Martha’s Kitchen\, Shelton Insurance\, Driscoll’s\, Taylor Farms\, and the Rotary Club of San Juan Bautista. We expect to serve more than 900 families at the event. \nThe San Benito Health Foundation is a Community Health Center providing Medical\, Dental\, Vision\, Behavioral Health\, and WIC services for underserved populations in San Benito County and surrounding areas since 1975. DESCRIPTION:February 23\, 2024 — 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm\n351 Felice Dr.\,\nHollister\, CA 95023 \nSan Benito Health Foundation will be hosting their annual “Give Kids a Smile” event on February 23\, 2024\, at 351 Felice Drive in Hollister. Free dental screenings and fluoride treatment will be provided for children and teens under 17 years old. \nThe event is from 3pm to 7pm and all participants will be given oral health tips and sent home with free toothbrushes and toothpaste\, thanks to the generous support of sponsors like Colgate\, Henry Schein\, and the ADA Foundation.
