DESCRIPTION:Techstars Startup Weekend is coming back to the Monterey Bay on January 24-26\, 2020 in partnership with Google for Startups for the eighth year. This event is open to anyone who has ever thought of becoming an entrepreneur (not just students). They are hoping to spread the word. Help bring attention to Startup Weekend by sharing the details with your network.  If you do share with your network and let them know and they will list you as a partner for this important community event. \nHere is some information that you can use to spread the word. \nEver wonder what it would be like to be an entrepreneur? Got an idea for a new business? \nAt Techstars Startup Weekend\, you’ll be immersed in the ideal environment for startup magic to happen. Surrounded by smart\, passionate people and with the best tools and approaches at your disposal\, you’ll take giant leaps toward creating a business\, becoming a founder\, and connecting with the right people and resources. Whether or not you have a business idea or want to learn what it takes to be an entrepreneur\, Techstars Startup Weekend is for you. \nTechstars Startup Weekend is a 54-hour event\, where attendees pitch ideas\, form teams and start companies. These events are very community-focused and provide a place for budding entrepreneurs to find co-founders\, mentors\, and momentum for their ideas. \nThe participants that attend have 60 seconds to make a pitch (optional)\, the pitches are whittled down to the top ideas\, and teams form around the ideas to come out with several developed companies or projects. Finally\, the weekend culminates with demonstrations in front of an audience of judges and potential investors.
