The San Benito County Saddle Horse Show & Rodeo thanks Miss San Benito Rodeo 2024, Emily Drost for all the great work she did on the Associations behalf over her year.

It is looking forward to the next year with our 2025 Miss San Benito Rodeo, Francesca Donati.

Results from the 2025 Saddle Horse Show & Rodeo are attached at bottom.

This was the first year of a few things. The organization awarded its first scholarships this year to Lillian Mendonsa and Dan Nino for $2,000 for each. Both are longtime contestants and both are attending Cal Poly in the fall.

Also a first year was an award for Ladies All-Around Arena buckle with Elliote Sparling earning that title.

All-Around Senior Open Arena title went to CJ DeForest. All-Around Senior Track was Billy Martin. Our All-Around Junior Arena went to Maycee Mullins and the All-Around Junior Track went to Audrey Chavez.

Attendance was full throughout the weekend with the rodeo sold out all three days, but for complete accuracy, there was a handful of tickets left on Friday night of the rodeo.

This rodeo experienced a 4.9% increase in contestants this year from 410 contestants in 2024 to 430 contestants in 2025. That can be attributed to opening up some of the locals-only events to all contestants and increased marketing.

The San Benito County Saddle Horse Show & Rodeo is a nonprofit, community based organization. We will report over the next year on community benefits and improvements, other causes we are involved in, including local scholarships for volunteers and contestants as well as Californian High School Rodeo Association, District 4 and National Qualifiers.

Results should be posted on San Benito County Saddle Horse Show & Rodeo soon.
