BenitoLink, San Benito County’s nonprofit news and information website welcomes the publication of obituaries written about San Benito County community members and former community members.
Obituaries recognize the lives of individuals and contain our county history, which the BenitoLink team values very highly.
Due to the cost of staff handling obituaries, BenitoLink recently started charging a modest flat rate per obituary.
However, thanks to a kind and generous donor who prefers to remain anonymous, there will be no charge for obituaries with one photo and under 400 words in 2026.
Exception: BenitoLink accepts obituaries longer than 400 words or with more than one photo with a donation. The suggested amount is $1 per word and $25 per additional photo. There is a limit of 5 photos per obituary.
Please include the name of who the obituary was written about.
Contact us via the email listed below to provide your article. If you have questions, feel free to call or email us. We are happy to help. Leslie David- lesliedavid@benitolink.com (831) 801-1356.
