A magnitude 3.7 earthquake struck Tuesday afternoon 26 miles east, southeast of Hollister and 12 miles northeast of Pinnacles National Park, according to the United States Geologic Survey.
The temblor hit at 2:46 p.m. at a depth of 3.11 miles.
The afternoon quake followed a 2.5 magnitude shaker south/southeast of Ridgemark Golf Club and Resort at 8:34 a.m. Tuesday. There were no reports of damage from either quake.
