Hollister nonprofit Hope Services, which offers programming for clients with developmental disabilities, celebrated the Grand Opening of its new location at 320 Fourth St. in Hollister Aug. 9.

“Medi-Cal announced the Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Final Settings Rule in 2014,” the Hope Services website states. “This rule ensures that people receiving HCBS have full access to community life and can receive services in the most integrated settings.”

Hope Services has offices in San Benito, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz and Monterey counties.

“At Hope Services, we believe in empowering individuals to dream outside the box. Our dedicated staff, trained in Person-Centered Thinking and Practices, are committed to utilizing PCT discovery tools to ensure that each participant can live their best life based on their own desires and choices,” the website explains.

The new location offers more space for the programs that Hope Services offers its clients. (Editors’ note: Reporter/photographer Adam Bell is a Hope Services client and a freelance photographer.)
