Update: August 12, 8:15 a.m. Fire has burned 422.5 acres with a potential to burn 500-1,000 acres. There is 100% containment.

Panoche Fire started Aug. 7 and is burning grass, brush and oak woodland south of Payne Creek and Llanada.

At 6:44 p.m. Cal Fire reported two civilians have sustained burn injuries.

The blaze is being fought with ground and air units including three engines, two water tenders and one hand crew. One structure was threatened but this threat has been lifted.

The incident was first reported at 4:10 p.m. on Aug. 7. Source of ignition is under investigation.
