Every Step Matters: Sun Street Centers to Host Annual Recovery Run on September 20 Marina, CA. September 12, 2025.

Sun Street Centers is proud to announce the Annual Recovery Run, taking place on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the Veterans Administration in Marina, CA. This family-friendly community event will begin with registration at 7:30 AM, followed by the start of the 5K and 2-
mile run/walk at 9:00 AM. The course will partially wind through the scenic campus of California State University, Monterey Bay (CSUMB).
The Recovery Run aims to raise awareness around Substance Use Disorder (SUD), promote healthy lifestyles, and eliminate the stigma associated with SUD. It also serves to highlight individuals in long-term recovery and raise critical funds for treatment, recovery, and prevention services offered to those seeking help.
This year’s event will feature:
• A timed 5K run and a 2-mile fun run/walk
• Live music, breakfast, and family-friendly activities
• Resource booths from local health and wellness organizations
• A celebration of community, resilience, and recovery
We are especially honored to recognize Danny Dedmon as the 2025 Recovery Run Honoree.
