Alfred Augustine Galvan (Alfie), 59, of Gilroy, California, passed away on March 18th, 2026, in Fresno, California. Funeral service will be held at Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home on March 28th, 2026, at 2:00 pm. Reverend Heibar. Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Alfie was born in Gilroy, California, to Robert and Terrie Galvan on December 3, 1966. He went to high school at Gilroy High and graduated in 1985. He enjoyed fishing, sports, and spending time outdoors whenever he could. He was known for his great sense of humor, always bringing laughter to those around him. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Galvan. Alfie is lovingly survived by his three children, Nicholas (Crystal Galvan), Sarah, and Joseph Galvan; his mother, Terrie Galvan; his siblings, Debbie Morales (Al Morales), Robert Galvan (Lori Galvan), Ruben Galvan, and Carolyn Padilla; and his grandchildren, Noelle and Nia Galvan, along with many beloved nieces and nephews. Though he is no longer with us, Alfie’s love will continue to live on through his children, grandchildren, and all who were fortunate enough to know him.
