A couple of unsolicited opinions that I want to share with my wonderful SBC neighbors.

The Hollister Free Lance “Best of San Benito” is a great and fun way to share experiences from local businesses.

My question is, why is there a “Best Church” category?

Churches are personal to the people who attend them. Why is Hollister Free Lance trying to put more strains on different faiths with a “what church is better” category?

The federal government has already started this war with their “White Christianity is best”.

Faith is in the beholders heart, not because of government control or a popularity contest.

Do better Hollister Free Lance

Second thought.

These past local elections showed us that the politicians who keep their head down to the grindstone, who listen and include ALL voices, without lying about the constituents’ motives i.e. “they are developers” “it’s a scam” have won their contests by big numbers. (“Numbers like you’ve never seen before, the biggest numbers” lol).

For example, Francisco Diaz, Angela Curro, Mindy Sotelo and even Jennifer Lougue all have seveval things in common, no social media fighting, no lying about constituents, they are professional, they answer questions and they do the job or promise to do the job we ask of them as our leaders.

They are spending their time working for their constituents, not blaming them as Kollin Kosmicki, Dom Zanger and Ignacio Velasquez spend so much time doing.

BTW, I was a developer, too. (Not)

One last note to Supervisor Dom Zanger. This was not written by AI, however I do think it’s a great tool for people to use, people learn from AI.

Your job, Dom is to serve ALL constituents, not judge them for how they choose to write an opinion piece, or who they love. Your vote against June Proclamation LGBTQ month did not fall on deaf ears. You, too, will be up for reelection one day.
