4th Annual World Breastfeeding Celebration

Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital is inviting new and expecting families from throughout San Benito County to join the 4th Annual World Breastfeeding Celebration, a lively drive-through event taking place Friday, July 31, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital Women’s Center.

This free community event will celebrate the benefits of breastfeeding while connecting families with practical information, local resources and trusted community partners. Guests can enjoy a welcoming, family-friendly experience without leaving their vehicles as they move through the drive-through route.

Enter the hospital campus through the Emergency Room driveway and follow event signs to the drive-through.

Event includes:
• Family and newborn wellness information • Reading and developmental milestone resources
• Car seat safety education • Breastfeeding support, World Breastfeeding Week giveaways and photo opportunities
• Free raffles for car seats and breast pumps • Dr. Armstrong’s famous lactation cookies

The celebration is presented in partnership with local maternal, child and family health organizations. The event is free and open to the community. Families are encouraged to arrive during the scheduled event window and follow posted traffic directions.
