Adella Grace Ruiz left this Earth on August 11th, 2026, at the young age of six months.
Adella was born on January 26th, 2026, with her four siblings patiently awaiting her arrival with loving, open arms. Adella was a spunky and silly baby girl, with a love for her big brothers and sister. She spent seven beautiful weeks at home and was able to go to the beach, go on a hike, and spend quality family time listening to music. Adella was eventually diagnosed with a severe heart condition at eight weeks old, while admitted to the Cardiovascular ICU at Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital.
Adella underwent three heart surgeries and fought a long, difficult battle over the course of five months. She was a fiercely strong and tenacious baby girl who overcame so many obstacles while in the hospital. After facing another unexpected complication, Adella passed away surrounded by love in the arms of her parents.
Adella’s memories will live on through her parents, Victoria Yanez and Jesse Ruiz; her siblings, Andrea, Emile, Noah, and Gael Ruiz; her grandparents, Andrea and Tomas Yanez, and Lupe and Jesus Ruiz; and many other loving aunts, uncles, and family members.
