VFW Post 9242 is inviting veterans, military organizations, community groups, businesses, families, and residents throughout San Benito County to participate in the 2026 Hollister Veterans Day Parade on Wednesday, November 11, 2026.

The annual parade will celebrate and honor the men and women who have served and continue to serve our nation. Organizers encourage the community to come together for an afternoon of patriotism, remembrance, and appreciation for our veterans.

The parade will begin at 1:30 p.m., with participating units assembling at 12:30 p.m. at Haydon and Monterey Streets. The parade will proceed down San Benito Street, turn left onto 5th Street, and then turn left onto Monterey Street.

Honoring Veterans

The Veterans Day Parade provides the community with an opportunity to publicly recognize the service and sacrifice of America’s veterans.

To maintain the non-political and respectful nature of the event, participants will not be permitted to promote or degrade political affiliations or candidates, or display or distribute political slogans or materials during the parade.

Each parade unit will stop in front of the event stage, located in front of the Veterans Memorial Building, where its entry will be announced to the community.

Parade organizers encourage everyone to participate—whether by entering a float, vehicle, marching unit, or organization, or simply by lining the parade route with family and friends to show their support.

Come out, wave the flag, bring your family, and help VFW Post 9242 honor the men and women who served our country.
