The San Benito Cattlewomen’s Association is accepting applications for their 2019 scholarship.

Applicants must be high school seniors with at least a 3.0 GPA and a child, grandchild, niece, or nephew of a member who currently is and has been a member in good standing of the San Benito County Cattlewomen’s Association for the past three years or more. The member must sign the application. The submission deadline is March 29.

In order to qualify, applicants must be accepted by an accredited university, college or trade school. Verification of enrollment must be submitted to claim scholarship.

Applicants must include two letters of recommendation: one from someone within the high school community and the second from the community at-large.

Applicants must also include:

  • An essay about themselves, their expectations of college and their future
  • A list of extracurricular activities
  • A list of work experience (this may include work at home or in the family business)

Applications can be submitted to the Career Center or directly to the San Benito County Cattlewomen at P.O. Box 539, Tres Pinos CA 95075.
