Passed Away On: 06/30/2018

Shirley A. Salinas passed away in Monterey at the age of 80. She enjoyed baking pies, sewing, bowling, collector of American and Chinese Porcelain Dolls and was a member of the Filipino American Society, Salinas Chapter and a graduate of Cosmetology at Gavilan College in Gilroy. She was born in Salinas and was preceded in death by her husband, Edwigis Salinas. She is survived by her children, Debbie Castillo (Ernie) of Hollister, Pamela Smith-Jimison (Warren) of Whitmore, CA, Malaea Salinas-Salazar (Samuel) of Hughson, CA, Herbie Salinas of Nashville, TN and David Salinas of Palm Springs, her brother and sisters, Patricia Haro of Denton, TX, Don Lingo of San Juan Bautista, Dennis Lingo of Los Banos and Linda Schaffer of Hollister and her grandchildren, Ernie Michael Castillo (Diana), Jor-el Castillo, Desiree Castillo-Bernaldez (Jeff), Timothy Castillo, Kalani Boyd, Sean Smith, Nicky Salazar, Michael Zapata Jr, Allissia Salinas and Matthew Banuelos and her great grandchildren, Elijah Castillo, Janaleigha Castillo, Christopher Castillo, Adan Castillo, Anela Bernaldez, Ashlinn Boyd, Brodie Boyd, Kaylinn Boyd, Blake Brizendine, Royal Brizendine and Memphis Smith.

Private family inurnment will be at San Juan District Cemetery with her husband, Edwigis.
