The Hollister Police Departments Animal Care & Services Bureau is once again teaming up with the Redwood City based Pets In Need Rescue Organization.
For several months last year, Pets In Need offered free spay/neutering services for the Hollister Animal Shelter by driving their mobile Animal Hospital to Hollister. Last week the Hollister Animal Shelter transported 20 dogs to Pets In Need's Redwood City facility. Pets In Need spay/neutered the dogs at no cost to the City of Hollister.
With Pets In Need's gift and partnership, for a limited time, select dogs in the Hollister Animal Shelter will be offered for adoption for $20 with an additional $10 for a microchip at adoption if desired.
Those interested in adopting a new dog for their family should stop by the Hollister Animal Shelter at 1331 South St. Office hours are Monday-Friday 1-5 p.m. For more information, call (831) 636-4320.
