CareGiver University Presents Workshop on Care of Dementia Patients

CareGiver University in Partnership with Jovenes de Antano presents a workshop to provide caregivers of persons with Alzheimer’s or related dementias, information and tips for providing personal care such as bathing, dressing and grooming. In this workshop, caregivers will learn how a person with dementia interprets situations to better understand and anticipate challenging behaviors.  Participants will leave the class with stronger skills & greater confidence.

When: Wednesday, February 12, 2020

Time: 10:30 a.m.—12:00 p.m.

Where: Hollister Community Center 300 West St. Hollister.

Cost: Free

Fragrance-free event. As a courtesy to those affected,  please attend smoke and scent-free.

Caregiver University is also offering a six-week workshop on self-care for caregivers during February and March in Monteray (see flyer).
