VFW Post 9242 held its annual Easter Egg Hunt for special needs children on April. 4 at the Veterans Memorial Park.

The earlier hunt started at 11 a.m. and included special needs children aged 2-10 years old, while a second hunt at noon for other children.

Participant Grace Sousa said she heard about the event from her mom Marissa Sousa and wanted to hunt for for eggs.

“My favorite part is (hunting for the eggs),” Grace said. “We are gathering together and making friends.”
