On May 28 Panoche Fire reached 100% containment.
Cal Fire is fighting a 191-acre grass and brush fire (Panoche Fire) on Pimental Creek Road West of New Idria Road with 95% containment. Firefighters remain at the scene cooling the last of the hot spots.
The cause of the ignition is under investigation.
Panoche Fire was first reported as a 20-acre grass and brush fire with zero containment at 10:24 a.m. May 25 on New Idria Road.
