The San Benito County Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce an exciting new chapter in its leadership. The Board of Directors has unanimously appointed Christina Reyes as the Chamber’s Interim Chief Executive Officer.
A Hollister native and Hollister High School alumna, Christina has been an active part of the San Benito County Chamber since 2022, and began serving as an ambassador in 2023. From there, she steadily took on expanded leadership roles, including Head Ambassador, Board Director, Ambassador Chair, Executive Board Secretary, and now Interim CEO. Each role reflected a growing responsibility and a consistent willingness to step in where support and leadership were needed most.
Throughout her time with the Chamber, Christina has been known for her hands-on approach, collaborative mindset, and unwavering focus on strengthening small businesses. She has worked closely with members, partners, and volunteers, helping bridge communication between business owners, community organizations, and regional economic partners.
Christina remains actively involved in regional economic collaboration and small business advocacy, engaging with economic and community partners across San Benito County to support efforts that strengthen local businesses and promote long-term economic vitality.
As a small business owner herself, Christina brings firsthand understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing local entrepreneurs. That perspective informs her leadership and reinforces her commitment to ensuring the Chamber remains responsive, practical and member-focused.
“I believe strongly in the role the Chamber plays as a connector, advocate, and trusted resource for our business community,” Christina said. “I’m honored to step into this role and remain committed to supporting our members, our partners, and the long-term vitality of San Benito County.”
Her appointment reflects the Board’s confidence in her leadership, integrity, and vision. As the Chamber steps into the new year, we are energized by the innovative direction Christina will help guide, one rooted in collaboration, creativity, and a deep commitment to our local business community. Christina will lead the Chamber with the support of Jodi Nava as Membership & Administration Coordinator and a group of dedicated ambassadors.
