For more than 30 years, the Community Foundation for San Benito County (CFFSBC) has worked alongside local donors, nonprofits, and community partners to strengthen the region and enhance the quality of life for residents. Now, the Foundation is inviting the community to share their voices to help guide its future focus.
As part of this effort, CFFSBC has launched a set of short surveys designed to gather perspectives from nonprofit leaders and donors to those who live and work in San Benito County. The goal is simple: better understand the challenges, opportunities, and priorities that matter most to the people who live and work here.
“Community foundations are built by and for the people they serve,” said CEO Cassandra Kartashov. “As we look ahead, it’s important that we understand the priorities and concerns of the people who call San Benito County home.”
At its core, a community foundation is a tax-exempt, nonprofit, publicly supported philanthropic institution. They bring together charitable gifts from many donors to create lasting resources that support local nonprofits, scholarships, and community initiatives. Input from these surveys will help inform how the Foundation directs its efforts and philanthropic investments in the years to come.
All are encouraged to participate and share their perspectives by March 30, 2026. Surveys are available in both English and Spanish.
