Immigration Policy

Join two experts on aspects of immigration policy for a deeper understanding of this critical issue through lecture & discussion.  ALL WELCOME.

 

Monday, April 24,  7 p.m. at the San Benito County Library Barbara Room in Hollister, for the community.

 

                                                            Featuring:

Dr. Enrique Luna: A  historian with an additional Ed.D in International and Multicultural Studies, Dr. Luna draws upon his own family’s immigration experience and on his historical expertise to provide a look at how social and economic policies and practices by the US and Mexican governments have helped shape immigration realities.

 

Dr. Marilyn Chap specializes in the mechanics of marginalization. She will use a sociological focus to examine immigration, including how immigrants contribute to society, and current challenges facing our nation, its immigrants, and its immigration policies and practices.
