Aromas Home Hardening Workshop

Join us for an interactive day of learning and lending a hand, focusing on practical tips and techniques you can use to protect and create a first line of defense for your home against wildfire. In the discussion, we will be diving into the most common ways structures catch fire, techniques to create buffer zones around your home, fire-resistant materials, creating accessibility for fire suppression to take place if needed, and more.
The workshop will feature roughly two hours of instruction in the morning and will be followed by an optional, community-led work party, where we will be applying learned concepts and techniques to help build defensible space around a local community member’s home. Snacks and drinks will be provided!
