Community Solutions’ Volunteer Advocate Training for Sexual Assault, Intimate Partner Abuse and Human Trafficking Advocates

This 9-day training provides community members with the knowledge and skills needed to become a Certified Sexual Assault and Intimate Partner Abuse Advocate. Trained advocates will be able to provide prevention, education and outreach presentations; assist with legal advocacy and court accompaniment; provide peer support to survivors at our confidential shelter and crisis line support; provide in person responses for survivors in crisis; and support at our Morgan Hill and Hollister offices. Training is free with a commitment of 100 volunteer hours within a year.
