Creatures of the Night

Spooky or not spooky? We’ll explore the weird and wonderful nocturnal life of Hollister Hills SVRA as you “trick or treat” along the Bird Creek Trail in the Nature Area. Arrive at 5pm so you have enough time to decorate a pumpkin and “trick or treat.” This is a family friendly education evening under the fall stars.
DIRECTIONS: drive to the main entrance (lower ranch) of Hollister Hills SVRA, located five miles south of Hollister on Cienega Road. Check in and pay park entrance fee at kiosk. Drive to the end of the main road (Madrone Campground) and park.
BRING: water, flashlight, comfortable walking shoes, warm clothes, and family friendly costumes are encouraged.
COST: event is free; park entrance fee is $5 per vehicle.
