Dealing with Dementia workshop

Dealing with Dementia is an educational program designed to help family caregivers of people living with dementia, developed by the Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregiving. Participants will receive a 362-page resource guide to help caregivers navigate their caregiving journey.

Topics include:
• Safety
• Dementia friendly lifestyle
• Problem solving
• Managing challenging behaviors
• Stress management
• Self-care for the caregiver

Participants will gain increased self-confidence in handling dementia related behaviors and knowledge of dementia.
