Free Bulky Item Recycling Event

All San Benito County households can dispose of up to TWO bulky items at the John Smith Landfill free of charge on Saturday, June 29th or Sunday June 30th from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Please bring your CA Driver’s License or ID indicating you are a resident of San Benito County. We accept large appliances, furniture, mattresses, green waste, wood waste, hot tubs, water heaters, asphalt, concrete, tires, and more. Please tarp your bulky items to avoid being charged.
