This dramatic production unravels murderous local history, detailing the final days of Tiburcio Vásquez— Monterey’s own suave Californio bandit. Journey through the Wild West from San Benito County to Los Angeles and back to San Jose, and witness his final moments unfold on stage. The play explores the ravenous appetites and tensions between Californios and their oppressors, bringing a vivid and haunting chapter of local history to life.
