Jazz @ Gavilan Concert

This year’s lineup features distinguished Gavilan faculty member and renowned pianist Dahveed Behroozi along with his special guests. Joining Behroozi on stage are some of the region’s finest jazz musicians, including alto saxophonist Kasey Knudsen, bassist Isaac Coyle, and drummer Jason Lewis. Audiences can look forward to a dynamic and unforgettable evening featuring a vibrant mix of timeless jazz classics, compelling original compositions, and modern popular tunes reimagined with the help of special guest vocalists.

Kicking off the night of music, the Sobrato High School Jazz Band, under the expert direction of Greg Chambers, will deliver an exciting opening performance.

“This show is not to be missed,” Dahveed Behroozi stated. “As always, it promises to be an amazing concert that brings our community together through the power and joy of live jazz.”
