Special, a one time only, Hollister screening of award winning movie “MAN FROM RENO”, 9.30am, Saturday October 31 , at Premier Cinemas, 641 McCray St, Hollister, followed by a Q & A with movie director Dave Boyle.

Man from Reno , a Dave Boyle film, is the winner of the Best Narrative Feature Award at the 2014 Los Angeles Film Festival. It is a cross-cultural , murder mystery in English and Japanese set in San Francisco and its outskirts including scenes shot in Hollister and San Juan Bautista.

A small town sheriff and a Japanese crime writer are lured into the same, strange murder mystery, when a Man From Reno goes missing on the streets of San Francisco. This Hitchcockian suspense mystery starring Pepe Serna, Ayako Fujitani and Kazuki Kitamura, has been shown across the U.S.A. and Canada and at the Osaka Film Festival in Japan. It will be seen in other countries soon.
