Martin Luther King Jr. bicentennial celebration at San Juan Oaks Golf Club

Fifty years after the death of Martin Luther King Jr., Bethany Community Church will commemorate a bicentennial celebration at San Juan Oaks Golf Club on Monday, January 15, 2018.

The theme of the event will be Future Leaders about which Pastor Gerald E. Harris will speak.

The event is known for participation of youth; greeters, speakers, youth choir.

Several San Andreas High School students will receive certificates of completion of the Future Leaders with S.W.A.G (Successful Winners Achieving Goals), taught by Dr. Gerald E. Harris and attorney Elvira Zaragoza Robinson.

The highlight of the event will be the Martin Luther King Freedom award, which will be given to Lovell K.C. Adams of Gilroy.

K.C is best known for his commitment and dedication to young lives especially through sports. He has touched many lives with his Godly giving spirit. Lovell has been a barber/stylist for 30 years, and is the owner of KUTZ and COLORS HAIR SALON IN GILROY.
