Open House/Emergency Preparedness Fair

This Emergency Preparedness Fair is a free Fair designed to help the citizens of San Benito become better prepared for any disaster or emergency.

Demonstrations will include:

Long term food preservation and storage,

Water storage and purification

 Dutch pven cooking by the Boy Scouts ( with fruit cobbler served)

Solar Cooking 

72 Hour Family Emergency kits

Emergency Amateur (Ham) Radio Communications demonstration

Emergency electrical generation and lighting devices

Red Cross exibits,

Hollister Fire Department on scene demonstrations

Office of Emergency Services booth

A guided building tour including the Family History Center with demonstrations/assistance. (Come and find out who you are related to from previous generations)
