Portuguese Festival

The SDES Portuguese Hall will host the “Queen Coronation” and dance June 8, at 8:30 p.m., at 695 Seventh St., followed by the parade June 9, at 10:00 a.m. The parade route begins at the Hall, going East on Seventh Street, North on San Benito Street and West on Fifth Street to Sacred Heart Church for the 11 a.m. mass. The mass is followed by the serving of Portuguese sopas, and live auction. Music to follow after the auction. Last serving of Portuguese sopas is at 6 p.m.
