Pre-Teen /Early Teen Girls Health Fair

As part of its community outreach program, Hollister Urgent Care is having a health fair, just for girls that are currently in the 4th grade through going into 8th grade (ages 9 – 13).
The event is being held on Saturday, June 13th from 12:00 Noon until 3:00PM, at 890 Sunset Drive Suite B2. Only women will be conducting the event. Moms (or Dads or Guardians) may attend.
There will be presentations and discussion about a variety of topics for this age group, including:
 Puberty education – everything you need to know
 Mental health – what is it?
 Calling for help – who should you call and what happens when you do
 Nutrition for young bodies
 Vaccine status lookup
 Other health talks
Participants will receive age-appropriate free goody bags featuring the New York Times Bestseller American Girl book The Care & Keeping of You
Snacks/Refreshments will be served.
