“America’s Job Center of California is your one-stop shop for workforce services, like this Job Fair, for employers and job seekers alike,” said San Benito County Employment & Training Services Counselor, Megan Crable. “If you have job openings, our staff can assist you at this event by receiving applications so that you can focus on promoting your company and talking to potential employees at your booth during the event.”
This event will host more than 23 employers and agencies promoting their job openings and career opportunities in a variety of fields. Local employers are scheduled to attend and job seekers will have the opportunity to meet employers from all industries. Veterans and military spouses are also encouraged to attend. Veterans with Military ID have the option to participate in the job fair in a special, Veterans only session from 3pm-4pm.
The San Benito County America’s Job Center will have staff members on hand at the event to provide resume, application and on-site interview assistance. Applicants are asked to come prepared, professionally “dressed for success” and to bring copies of their resume complete with their latest contact information.
Assistance for job seekers is also being provided in advance of the event 8:00AM to 5:00PM Monday through Friday at the Job Center located at 1111 San Felipe Road, Suite 107 in Hollister. Employment readiness workshops are also held at the Center from 8:30AM to Noon every Tuesday and Friday.
The event is sponsored by Pacific Scientific, Teknova, Plumbers, Steamfitters & Refrigeration Fitters Local Union 393 and Infinity Staffing. Businesses are currently still being recruited to sponsor and participate in the event. It’s not too late to secure your spot for participation.
