San Benito County Opioid Task Force Town Hall

The San Benito County Opioid Task Force invites the community to their town hall on February 8 to increase awareness of opioid abuse in the county. During the event, a small panel of speakers including Assembly-member Robert Rivas, physicians from Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital, Treatment Providers, San Benito County Behavioral Health, First Responders, and a few community members who have been impacted will discuss the issue as it pertains to San Benito County.

There will also be information booths, free Narcan and training, free medication locking bags, free medication free disposal envelopes and free sharps containers.

Where: Veterans’ Memorial Building

When: February 8

Time: 10 a.m. to Noon. Doors open at 9:30 a.m.
